Cydia comes as default app store once your iDevice is jailbroken.
However, there are other app stores you can have on your device. In particular, you can get Icy, which is considered at least as good as Cydia.

So, what are the advantages and disadvantages of Icy?
+ It’s faster
+ Does not download entire library every time
+ Friendlier user interface

- It’s not default - need to download it from Cydia
- No sources as default
- Does not reinstall apps - remove only

If you don’t mind manually adding all sources, and you are willing to sacrifice “reinstall” option.Then I would only recommend using Icy, as it is significantly faster, friendlier and does not reload every time.

How to get Icy to your iDevice?
1, add (http://repo.ispazio.net) source to your Cydia library
2, download Icy app
3, open it, add all sources you like to use
