This is so cool that I could not keep it to myself. You can take macro photos on your iDevice easy and for free! The trick is to put a single drop of water over your camera lens.

The easiest way is to use a toothpick to make sure you spread the water drop evenly around the lens. You can even use dish washing liquid (or other pure liquid), which has higher density and sticks well with the lens even in vertical position.
And the final tip: to get the very best results use sunlight rather than indoor lighting.
